Jenna's Preschool and Katelyn's Kindergarten Graduations

Jenna has been doing preschool within our ward. Each year the mom's who have kids ages 3-4 get together and form a preschool. It is every Wednesday for 2 hours and the mom's take turns teaching the lesson. This was Jenna's first year of preschool. She had a lot of fun making friends and doing all the fun activities. On May 14th, she graduated from her little preschool class. We went over to the park and had a little picnic, the kids were given a little diploma, and then played some games.  We are happy she had some much fun in preschool.

Katelyn has been loving kindergarten. She loves learning and has picked up really well on her reading. Her teacher wanted to test Katelyn on a 1st grade reading level to she how far she was, she scored 30% higher then most 1st graders nationally. It's been fun listening to her read, and I am at awe at some of the words she already knows. Katelyn has always been one of the top students in her class with straight A report cards each time. On May 21, Katelyn graduated kindergarten. They did a fun little program of some fun songs and then were handed their diplomas. It was fun to watch and we are proud of her accomplishments. She is both excited and nervous to be going to 1st grade next year.
